Meet Our Sitters
Jennifer Powers-I started Diamond Pet Service in January 2006 and until May 2008 had run the business single-handedly. With a great increase in client referrals, veterinarian referrals, and new leads, we began to expand from Chantilly and Sterling into all the areas we serve today. With expecting identical twin boys this November, I had to take a step back from dog walks and in-home dog boarding so hired great people to take over for me until I can return to regular walks and pet sitting again. I have three dogs who love to have me at home all to themselves these days.
OUR SITTERS:
Andrea-I offer dog boarding at my home in Great Falls. Since I have no pets of my own, I felt my home would be an ideal environment to bring visiting dogs into. This option is also good for those dogs who might not get along with other animals or are better off as an "only child."
Elyse-I love all kinds of animals and enjoy working with them. Taking care of animals helps me enjoy leading an active lifestyle and being outdoors. I also work part time at Home Depot and currently saving up to continue my education. I reside in Woodbridge, Va with my 5 yr old Pitt bull named Chaos, my 2 pet ferrets, canary and fish.
Latrice-I have always loved animals. The unconditional love that is received from them is priceless. From age 3, I have had family pets I grew very attached to. However, since my home in Alexandria won't allow pets, I love to surround myself with all animals.
Maria-I am currently a student at Northern Virginia who loves to fill her days with all types of animals. I provide mid-day dog walks, pet sitting, and overnight stays since my home in Springfield does not allow me to have dogs of my own. I also will bring cats into my home for those who need to be boarded.
Neil-Currently residing in Ashburn, I am an affectionate pet owner of an 11 year old female cat. She (Kiwi) is multi-colored with white, black, grey, and orange fur. I decided to become a dog walker/pet sitter to work with animals.
Ruth-A dream for me to work with animals as a career, I was an Accountant for almost 30 years before I decided to make dogs my life. I currently own a 3 year old Vizsla and a 9 year old German Shepard as well as several cats and two horses that I ride, train and compete. Blessed with 2 children and a wonderful husband I currently reside in Aldie, VA. I also offer dog boarding in my home to surround myself with more animals that I can love.
Sammantha-I am a part-time pet sitter since I work full-time in the corporate world. I reside in Sterling with my chihuahua-mix, and enjoy any free time I may have serving as a pet sitter.
